Disaster Recovery PlanAt the heart of Bcon-PRO architecture lies the disaster recovery plan: a set of pre-defined procedures that need to be executed in the specified order to ensure business survivability during a crisis situation and an effective recovery afterwards. Once an incident is registered, the person to be assigned evaluates it and determines whether it can be classified as a situation for which a plan has been previously defined. When that is the case, the corresponding plan is started, and all plan steps are executed in the pre-defined order. All available information about plan execution is published on the dashboard in real time, including details about the responsible employees. Every action is time-stamped and permanently stored in the database for audit trail.
You're always in control of your plan.
Workflow Designer
Bcon-PRO divides a disaster recovery plan into smaller, manageable units called plan steps, which are then executed according to a pre-defined sequence. The Workflow Designer module provides all necessary tools for creating interactive graphical representations of complex plan structures, allowing users to observe the correct sequence in which plan steps must be executed and providing a better perspective over the relationships between various items (ramifications, type of connections, et cetera). All graphical representations are fully editable in order to match the execution of the disaster recovery plan.
Gantt Chart
During a plan execution, at any given moment, some of the scheduled plan steps have already been executed, while the rest of the scheduled actions will be executed according to their position in the workflow schema. The ratio between executed actions and scheduled actions is graphically represented on the dashboard using the Gantt Chart. Responsibility grid and drill down functions help identify who is responsible of the selected plan step.
